I thought the movies kept getting better each time. The first was a good base, making the characters meet, telling their background stories a little bit, and then leaving it at that. The second, the Meltdown, was even better once introducing Ellie and her opposum brothers, Crash and Eddy, because once again they managed to keep the same characters from the past and introduce new ones by displaying a background story which tied together.
The third is by far the best thanks to the most hilarious entrance made by Buckminster the Weasel. His wild and unpredictable character is enlightening while his story is pleasing, catching the audience's attention like it was nobody's business doing so.
I have to say that all were great in different ways, but Buck has made the third my all-time favorite. I'm really looking forward to a fourth, hopefully with more of him perhaps joining the upper world into the Ice Age. He's their best character besides The opposums, Diego, and Ellie. I also hope to see more into the life of Peaches and what she could grow up into. That, I think, would make a fine addition in the series, assuming there should be one more.
